Expression of AbiScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 has no effect on photoreceptor axon targeting.

Flies expressing AbiScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU in a AbiΔ20 mutant background show disruption to the integrity of cortical actin in nurse cells and the flies are completely sterile.

Flies expressing AbiScer\UAS.cSa under the control of either Scer\GAL4da.PU alone or Scer\GAL4da.PU and Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 in a AbiΔ20 mutant background results in egg morphology defects.

Expression of AbiScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU in a wild type background has no effect on fertility.

Expression of AbiScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU substantially rescues the morphology defects seen in AbiΔ20 mutant macrophages. The rescued cells exhibit stable and periodic membrane protrusions. The defects in photoreceptor axon targeting are rescued when AbiScer\UAS.cSa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155.

Ubiquitous expression of AbiScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 rescues the lethality of the AbiΔ20 allele.

Expression of AbiScer\UAS.cSa in the glial cells of AbiΔ20 mutants under the control of Scer\GAL4repo does not modulate the axon-bundle targeting defects in the larval visual system.
