      Females expressing SypScer\UAS.P\T.F.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU lay eggs with defects in dorso-ventral axis specification, including ectopic, fused and missing dorsal appendages. Many of the embryos that develop from the eggs have a reduced number of pole cells.
