      Expressing CCT8NIG.8258R under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PU results in complete loss of head structures in pharate adults.

      Expressing CCT8NIG.8258R under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU fails to induce cell death in the posterior compartment of the eye disc in third instar larvae, and results in adults with normal eyes.
