      Expressing CCT3NIG.8977R under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PU results in complete loss of head structures in pharate adults.

      Expressing CCT3NIG.8977R under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU fails to induce cell death in the posterior compartment of the eye disc in third instar larvae, and results in adults with normal eyes.
