10.9kb genomic fragment that spans CRMP into which the same lesion as in CRMP^supK1, a 153bp deletion that removes 50 codons at the 3' end of exon E4 and extends into the downstream intron, has been introduced. An EGFP tag is present at the C-terminal end of the CRMP coding sequence. Expression of this tag is only expected if the protein open reading frame is somehow restored downstream of the deletion; no EGFP expression is seen from this transgene.
