      Expression of mir-31bScer\UAS.T:Ppyr\LUC under the control of Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 results in a small amount of notching and a reduction in hairs at the wing margin. Vein L5 ends close to the wing edge, but does not reach it.

      Expression of mir-31bScer\UAS.T:Ppyr\LUC under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 does not result in a mutant phenotype.
