UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a DsRed(Unk) fluorescent protein. A genomic fragment containing the mir-10 pre-miRNA hairpin has been inserted into the DsRed(Unk) 3'UTR.

      Expression of mir-10Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in wing defects. Wings may be slightly curved. Thickening and deltas are seen in wing veins L3 and L5.
