UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a DsRed(Unk) fluorescent protein. A genomic fragment containing an miRNA cluster (includes the mir-281-1 and mir-281-2 pre-miRNA hairpins) has been inserted into the DsRed(Unk) 3'UTR.

      Expression of P{UAS-DsRed-mir-281-1+mir-281-2.L} under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32, Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 or Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 does not result in a mutant phenotype.

      Expression of P{UAS-DsRed-mir-281-1+mir-281-2.L} under the control of Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 occasionally results in a small amount of wing notching in females, and results in irregular wings lacking most of the margin in males.
