lacZ reporter expression is regulated by a mutant version of the Mst87F genomic region from -104 - +187. An ectopic Translational Control Element (TCE) has been introduced upstream of a mutant TCE sequence, changing the sequence from CTGAACACATAACACTTT to CTCAAAATTTAACACTTT.
