      The expression of Mettl3GL01126 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.Switch.PR, and induced by RU486, leads to swollen testes. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR35A10 results in germline cyst degeneration at various stages of spermatogenesis, namely in 8-cell cysts or larger cysts. Testes show increased permeability of germline cells to dextran and fusomes are almost completely gone.
