Expression of Cdk9HMS02329 under the control of Scer\GAL4repo (with or without tub-Gal80[ts] to limit the time of expression to adulthood) results in loss of adult brain glia at 7 days post-eclosion (although the adults emerge with similar number of brain glia as controls).
Females heterozygous for Cdk9HMS02329 and MTD-Gal4 (consists of Scer\GAL4otu.T:Hsim\VP16, Scer\GAL4nos.PG and Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16) crossed to Cdk9HMS02329 males results in: 69% hatching; non-maternal effect.
