Description

Imprecise excision of the progenitor insertion, resulting in a 984bp deletion with the distal breakpoint in the Arp53D gene and the proximal breakpoint 14bp downstream of the Sod2 transcription start site. The deletion thus removes Sod2 promoter sequences. A small amount of P-element sequence remains.
