        4-6 day old wild type flies that have been heat-shocked at 3 days post-eclosion have similar fecundity to non-heat shocked controls. Fecundity then decreases at 7-9 days. In contrast, fecundity in 4-6 day old heat-shocked Hsp70Aa30IIb-Aa flies is increased compared with non-heat shocked controls.
