UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a short inverted repeat.
The expression of RhoGEF3HMJ02092 under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr.PU leads to sensory organ precursor cells exhibiting increased solidity (i.e. a decreased inward curvature), but no evident defect on cell polarity or on the anterior-posterior orientation of the division, during interphase and exhibiting bleb-like cortical instabilities during mitosis, as compared to controls.
Wounded embryos expressing RhoGEF3HMJ02092 under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 show wound overexpansion, delayed actin accumulation around the wound edge and delayed repair, as compared to wounded control embryos.
