      Broad overexpression of IdeScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI reduces fly viability by up to 92%. Surviving IdeScer\UAS.cHa overexpressing flies weigh 11% less and are visibly smaller than control flies.

      Expression of IdeScer\UAS.cHa in insulin-producing cells, under the control of Scer\GAL4Ilp2.PR, results in females producing 11% fewer eggs than in controls.

      Females expressing IdeScer\UAS.cHa in insulin-producing cells, under the control of Scer\GAL4Ilp2.PR have a median lifespan 14% longer than control females. Males are unaffected.
