      Severe overexpression of ns1Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP using Scer\GAL4da.G32 results in delayed development and varying degrees of larval and pupal lethality. Although overall nucleolar structure seems normal in these larvae, many second and third instar larvae develop melanotic masses within their proventriculus, gastric caeca and intestines.
