Scer\FRT-mediated recombination between the two progenitor insertions has deleted the sequence between them, removing mir-92b and part of jigr1.
Homozygous larvae show a significant reduction in the number of body wall contractions per minute compared to controls. The larvae show sluggish movement. Overall muscle structure is not dramatically affected in homozygous embryos, but lateral transverse muscles are often missing (70.5%).
mir-92b+tCa partially rescues the lethality of Df(3R)mir-92bΔ homozygotes and rescues the larval body wall contraction and embryonic musculature defects.
