Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Scer\GAL4GMR.PF-mediated expression of Mmus\PrnpPG14.Scer\UAS results in the normal arrangement of seven photoreceptor cells being preserved in >95% of ommatidia, from birth to 6 weeks of age - there is no significant retinal pathology.

Flies homozygous for both Scer\GAL4elav-C155 and Mmus\PrnpPG14.Scer\UAS show a steep decline in climbing ability with advancing age from week 1 to week 3.

30 day old flies homozygous for both Scer\GAL4elav-C155 and Mmus\PrnpPG14.Scer\UAS show appropriate development of the major brain centers, and no obvious loss of neuropil integrity or cell cortical number is observed.
