Co-expression of Zzzz\aptamerHsf.X8.Scer\UAS with HsfScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP in the salivary glands (under the control of Scer\GAL4c739) restores salivary gland morphology to nearly wild-type size.
The high frequencies of lethality seen in flies with high-level systemic HsfScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP expression (under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL) is effectively suppressed by Zzzz\aptamerHsf.X8.Scer\UAS co-expression, resulting in viable and fertile animals.
