Description

A 650bp fragment from lambda phage is cloned between the A (-2265 to -105bp upstream of the hh transcription start site) and C (-4265bp to -3214bp upstream of the hh transcription start site) fragments of the hh promoter. This construct is placed upstream of lacZ coding sequences that are also under the control of a minimal hsp43 promoter.
