Description

UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of an Tag:HA-tagged Dfd::Scr chimaera. The encoded gene product includes the N terminus of Scr fused with the specificity module of Dfd, homeodomain, and C-terminus. The region of the Dfd polypeptide from its YPWM motif through the N-terminal arm of its homeodomain, together with the intervening linker region, is referred to as the SM.
