      Egg chambers in which all of the follicle cells contain gevuinanut46.3 mutant clones are often encapsulated within a single egg chamber. The follicular epithelium is disorganised with several layers of follicle cells often surrounding the multi-cyst egg chambers and massive invasion of the germline cells. Homozygous mutant follicle cells have small nuclei beyond stage 6 egg chambers.
