      Expression of mofdsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI results in male lethality. Surviving female progeny exhibit an enlarged body size at the 3rd instar larval, pupal, and adult stages. The average weight of female adults is increased by more than 10% compared to wild-type controls.
