      Expression of Eb1DN.Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-mCherry under the control of Scer\GAL4e22c reduces the duration of microtubule growth without altering the mean growth speed. Expression of Eb1DN.Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-mCherry perturbs the normal polarized orientation of microtubules in the dorso-ventral directio, resulting in a greater variation in direction of growth, although a bias toward the dorso-ventral direction remains.
