Adults expressing Acat1^HMC03340 for 2 days under the combined control of Scer\GAL4^VT030559 and Gal80[ts] (for temporal control of expression) exhibit decreased olfactory memory under starvation conditions, but not when fed; this decrease in memory is observed upon massed training, but not spaced training.
