      Defects are seen during metaphase when cnnPA.PBac.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 in D. simulans: centrosomes detach from the spindle.

      Defects are seen during metaphase when cnnPA.PBac.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 in D. yakuba: centrosomes detach from the spindle and centrosome replication is precocious at some spindles.

      Defects are seen during metaphase when cnnPA.PBac.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 in D. pseudoobscura: metaphase spindles have multiple poles and fusion between spindles is seen.
