    Compared to other alleles, Cyp6a2Canton-S-1 lacks a 15bp fragment in the 5' core promoter region. This region forms part of a canonical binding site for the Nrf2/Maf heterodimer. The Cyp6a2Canton-S-1 allele also has a 513-bp insertion of a 17.6 element in the 3' UTR.
