UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of Dvir\Cyp6g1a.
Overexpression of Dvir\Cyp6g1aScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4Cyp6g1.HR in the midgut, Malpighian tubules and fat body results in increased survival on dichloro-diphenyl-trichloro-ethane (DDT). Although the survival of flies expressing Dvir\Cyp6g1aScer\UAS.cHa on dicyclanil is statistically higher than control flies, the increase is only 1.01-110 fold, suggesting that the resistance is not biologically relevant.
