      Mutants do not show any obvious developmental phenotypes, and border cell migration in stage 10 egg chambers is not severely compromised. However, live-cell imaging reveals that mutant border cells migrate significantly slower than wild type, especially during the early phase. This correlates with an increased lifetime of cellular extensions and decreased forward-directed protrusion areas.
