      Larvae expressing Hsap\DNM2R465W.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PU display impaired locomotor activity and eclosion defects. The transgenic animals also develop muscle fiber atrophy as quantified by measurement of muscle fiber area.

      Third instar larvae expressing Scer\GAL4Mhc.PU>Hsap\DNM2R465W.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 have severely fragmented T-tubules in their body wall muscle.

      After 4 days of induction at the larval stage, T-tubule fragmentation is observed in third instar larvae expressing Hsap\DNM2R465W.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B and Scer\GAL4Mhc.PU. At the same time, transgenic larvae also display defects in locomotory ability.
