Description

A 1128bp fragment extending from -3572 to -2444bp relative to the tx transcription start site is fused upstream of lacZ. Mutations (CCC to TTT, GGG to AAA, CCC to TTT and CGC to ATA respectively) have been introduced into all four potential sr-binding sites present in the tx regulatory fragment.
