      Wild type embryos have up to 6 X-arm FISH signals in their polar bodies (depending on age), whereas Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16>pimdk.Scer\UAS.P\T mutants almost always have 3 (failure of polar body chromosome arm segregation and chromosome segregation in syncytial mitosis).
