      The entire population dies within 1 hour of heat shock in flies carrying Zzzz\κ-ACTX-Hv1chs.T:SS-Lsp1β. Prior to death the flies show an excitatory phase characterised by uncontrollable wing and leg movements. Paralysis then occurs, starting in the hind legs, after which the flies pace in smaller and smaller concentric circles until they become fully paralysed.
