      Expression of Zzzz\Mbre-yapScer\UAS.cIa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in reduced eye size. However the normal hexagonal topology of ommatidial subunits is abolished in the pupal retina. Eye pigmentation is reduced.
