Expression of Zzzz\Nvec-yap^{S83A.Scer\UAS} under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PU results in eye overgrowth that is stronger than in Zzzz\Nvec-yap^Scer\UAS.cIa. Ectopic proliferation is seen in the eye disc, resulting in extra bristles and inter-ommatidial cells in the adult eyes.
