FlyBase curator comment: this entry is used to capture phenotypic information when the particular allele (or allele combination) used by the author could not be determined but the context of the experiment suggests that the phenotype being described is some kind of loss of function.
Ilp1unspecified/Ilp1unspecified mutant females do not exhibit a significant difference in yolk accumulation during diapause-inducing conditions, but do exhibit significantly reduced oviposition, as compared to controls. Ilp1unspecified/Ilp1unspecified mutant males, but not females, exhibit increased lifespan under normal nutrition conditions; and males, but not females, also exhibit significantly decreased lifespan in starvation conditions, as compared to controls. Lifespan of both male and female mutants in desiccation conditions is unchanged, as compared to controls.
