UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of the Halo2-tag chemical reporter. This protein forms a covalent bond with chloroalkane groups, allowing rapid, irreversible and specific chemical tagging of the protein. The protein is tagged at the N-terminal end with Tag:Myr(Unk) (a membrane-targeting signal), such that the Halo2-tag reporter is intracellular in the fusion protein produced by this construct.
