      Expression of Atx2Scer\UAS.T:SV40\nls-largeT,T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in severe eye degeneration - the eye is smaller with completely disorganized and malformed ommatidia and lacking all interommatidial bristles. Expression under Scer\GAL4sca-109-68 leads to significant reduction in the number of macrochate in the adult thorax.
