      Although the expression of Hsap\MECP2S80E.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4futsch-C380 increases caspase activity in the motoneurons 5 (MN5) compared to controls, both MN5 somata are still present in adult flies at 0-1 day post-eclosion.
