An 931bp sub-fragment of the BRV118 enhancer (a damage-responsive enhancer that regulates both wg and Wnt6, the two genes which normally flank it) is fused upstream of a minimal Hsp70 promoter followed by the Myc coding sequence.

      Mycwg.Wnt6.BRV-B homozygous adults show a decreased wing regeneration capacity, as shown by the significant decrease in the number of adults with fully regenerated wings following rpr-induced damage to the third instar wing disc pouch, as compared to wild-type controls; these individuals do not show any significant developmental delay as compared to controls.
