The expression of oxt^{dsRNA.Scer\UAS.cUa} leads to pharate adults presenting a rough eye phenotype (under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PF) and missing bristles on the scutellum (under the control of Scer\GAL4^ap-md544), but not on the dorsal head capsule (under the control of Scer\GAL4^sca-109-68), as compared to controls; this expression also leads to no significant differences in the number of supraalar neurons in third instar larval wing discs, as compared to controls.
