      The ooplasmic streaming rate of KhcKO.wt mutant oocytes is comparable to wild-type controls.

      KhcKO.wt mutants are viable and fertile and do not display any deficit in either larval or adult locomotion or any defects in the microtubule sliding or axon length in cultured larval neurons compared to wild-type controls. The response of KhcKO.wt larvae to noxious stimuli is also comparable to controls.
