Description

The loxP cassette in the intron between exons 4 and 5 has been excised, resulting in a single 79bp loxP site remaining. The two in-frame stop codons at the beginning of the CaMKII coding region (the normal translation start codon has been mutated to TAG and an additional stop has been added at codon 7) are still present.
