The genomic location of the mutation was mapped from the reported amino acid change. The reported amino acid change positions for all six bel mutations are -1 with respect to the amino acid position in the reference sequence. The genomic locations of the mutations were reported in R5 coordinates but (with the exception of bel3R.596.4) are in the incorrect location because they were mapped relative to bel3R.596.4) without taking into account bel's location on the negative strand. The reported nucleotide change appears to be relative to the negative strand.
