      Expressing hamΔZF2.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-109-68 results in disrupted notal microchaeta, with either a tormogen (socket) cell partially converted into an ectopic hair-like structure or two complete trichogen (hair) cells and no tormogen cell.
