UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of a Hsap\MLF1 ::Hsap\NPM1 fusion protein that corresponds to the protein produced by the t(3;5) (q25.1;q34) chromosomal translocation associated with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
