Description

UASt regulates expression of a mutant Hsap\ALK cDNA in which the tyrosine at position 1278 (which is mutated to serine in neuroblastoma patients) is changed to aspartic acid. This results in ligand-independent activation of the Hsap\ALK kinase domain.
