      Crispr-Cas9 mutagenesis of Rpn8 by expressing Spyo\Cas9UAS.Tag:NLS(Unk), either under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR71G10 or in the absence of a driver, and using Rpn8gRNA.pCFD3-1 as a guide, results in lethality.

      Similar mutagenesis expressing instead Spyo\Cas9UAS.P2 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR71G10 is viable and induces mushroom body gamma neuron pruning defects.
