      Df(2R)BomΔ55C individuals show lower survival to Candida glabrata infection and, in agreement, their hemolymph lacks the fungicidal activity observed in controls. Both these defects are suppressed by BomS5+tLa, although the fungicidal activity is only re-established at 4[o]C for 24h, not at room temperature for 1h.
