Reference

MICU1³² mutant larvae have a significantly reduced crawling rate, compared to controls. In the larval epidermal cells, mitochondria have similar morphology to controls, but they occupy a significantly smaller area of the cell and are more diffusely distributed, compared to controls. Mitochondrial axonal transport is also significantly reduced, compared to controls.
